Mignon Cottage boasts a light filled, open plan living space with timber features throughout.Lots of windows overlooking the large grass backyard and covered timber deck where you can relax or dine. The backyard has a swing for children to relax and listen to the birds in the rainforest trees and for parents to chill out in the shade. Comfortably accommodating 6 people, Mignon Cottage is a split level home with 3 bedrooms | 1 bathroom | 1 toilet on the top level, with the lounge | dining | kitchen | laundry on the lower level. For those beautiful coastal balmy evenings sitting outside undercover on the deck, there is a Weber gas BBQ to assist your casual dining. Ceiling fans in lounge / living areas, Upright stand fans in bedrooms. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher makes entertaining a breeze, and travel lightly as there is a washing machine and dryer in the laundry. The whole house has recently been renovated with new carpets, freshly painted and styled to reflect a holiday at the beach. You are only a ten minute stroll to the stunning Crescent Head beach known for being a National Surfing Reserve due to it's status in surfing culture. There is also Killick Creek which is great for kids to play at the water's edge and float down the creek on floaties. There are lots of other beaches nearby, but you will have to drive to them and they are not patrolled like the Main Beach at Crescent, ie; Delicate, Racecourse and Plomer. Bedding: Queen beds in each of the main and and 2nd bedrooms, and a tri-bunk (double base + single on top) in the 3rd bedroom. Please note: Personal linen is not provided and guests will need to bring their own sheets, towels and pillowcases. If you would like to hire linen, this can be provided at an additional cost. We stay here annually and this time we really noticed the beds feeling very worn and needing a refresh. - bunk bed especially uncomfortable. Also needs pest management-mice poo evident in lounge room around lamp in corner and behind lamp and couches. Vacuumed it daily whilst staying... but more appeared each day. Just needs a little refresh to get it back to its best again.

I stayed here while working in Kempsey. The overal condition of the house was excellent. But the telephone reception and TV reception were poor. I was not able to do my work related on line activities due to poor internet connection. It was probably related to the location of the property. I do not recommend it to any one that is working from there.
